The Vivitek work in ad hoc or wifi LAN mode, you must install software on the device you're using but it has a built in web server for downloading it's driver software locally, Mac or PC.
It uses the Vivitek app from the iOS or Google Play store. It worked great for me.
Yes. Same for the Qomo and Prijector it appears. If I get my hands on a Prijector, I will post my thoughts.
