Also, to remain on topic, I was able to capture the "smart home" discrete code from my non magic remote (my LG TV comes with two remotes).
The code I captured is quite different from the one posted above and generated using the tool:

Not sure why. Specifically I have "0157 00ac" where all the codes generated have "015b 00ad". Anyone knows what that means? Sorry for the naive questions!
