I've recently imported a Bluraychip.dk pro region mod for an Oppo BDP-103 and after installing, works well. I'm using these in installations where there's a RS232 control system. The bluraychip pro mod is capable of being switch between the 3 bluray regions via RS232. The instructions state that this requires soldering of 2 wires but there is no instructions for it. Usually this would not be an issue except that bluraychip ignore emails sent to [email protected] which is the only contact they list. I have the strings and I did find instructions for the BDP 93/95 from someone, but the players are quite different within. Has anyone solved this enigma? It would be really cool if the client can simply choose a macro that changes the mod rather than the tricky button sequence option with the IR remote.
