The regulations are so much different here in Oz. We don't have to go through any of this BS you guys are talking about. Just be licensed to do your job, carry your card with you and sign off on the job at the end. That pretty much covers it. Only about 20% of jobs get inspected (if that), but there are harsh penalties for doing the wrong thing, so people generally do the right thing.
