Every brand of DVD player I've seen uses different command codes for their Blu-ray player.
I was just about to say this. I know from my Pioneer DV-47A to any of the Pioneer Blu-Ray players I had, which were a few, they all did not use the IR code set as the DV-47 DVD player.
So programming was enviable.
