Yep, you know what I get for ASSuming they wouldn't be live all the time....
The deal is they only stay live when you choose the zone to be fixed output, they aren't live when you choose it to be variable. Not sure why this is, but it sucks!! It'd work just fine if they had kept the zone triggers?
I may have to look into Fred's idea with speaker level trigger for the main zone which will then trigger the sub zones. It sounds like it will work and it'll be less expensive than going backward and locating a MCA-C5!! I'll need to find room and power plugs in the rack, which is already full....
Just tried to locate Niles Audio, do they exist anymore? There website goes nowhere. Have they changed the name?
