I understand. The learning curve is steep, and our help docs are way out of date, so the screen shots don't match. Sorry about that. But the basic concepts are the same. Unfortunately, I can't help much with EZ-RC as I haven't really used it in years.

What the toggle bit means is essentially that, with FLIRC, protocols like MCE may possibly only work every other try. So simplify and use a Sony DVD code or something like that. It's a simpler protocol and has just about all the commands needed for playback.
