I listened to Taya Kyle today, and she did make a very valid point regards background checks.

No, they won't solve all the problems, and I fully agree.

But I have yet to hear someone say "How about we make it illegal to sell Uzi's, etc, etc, and see if that helps?".

I for one see no reason at all that anyone needs an automatic weapons, or even a semi-automatic weapon, in their arsenal. Surely there's no need for those kid of weapons for hunting, or anything else that the average person needs.

I suppose the people that had a automatic weapon put in the hands of a little girl had some great reason for such stupidity?
