Will the Chandelier be an ornament or is it expected to light the room?

Do you want to reuse the original optics? (probably not a good idea for room lighting because flashlight beam to a fairly sharp spot)

What voltage do you want to use?

You'll probably need to use original bulbs if you want to keep the optics. But, original bulbs will have poor life. Replacing the original bulbs with anything except LED's will run into unresolvable heating issues.

If you want to use the Chandelier for room lighting, you'll need to install diffusers.

An alternate plan might be to install a small halogen lamp in the center of the cluster. In this case the flashlights are ornamental and you don't need to worry about their actual light output.

I am curious about the "jigsaw puzzles" in your top image, behind the Chandelier. Are these skylights?
