You might try posting in the custom installers' forum. On the other hand, being a starving artist with an unlikely antiquish collection of goodies, you might get some grief there.

What model is the Curtis TV? What model is the remote? Just as "I need to fix my car, what parts do I need?" requires the make and model, year, and description of the problem, this is needed for this problem.

You can't possibly have lifted a finger to help yourself yet. (Okay, you'll get some grief here, too.) If you google TV remote control, there are several responses. I'll help by saying you should check www.remotes.com to see if they have one for your model. If I type Curtis into their search box, several remotes come up. If yours is not there, you might try a remote with the same named buttons as yours. You'll want to ask if you can return it if it doesn't work.

Now, that gets you your Curtis remote, we hope.

What do you mean by "hook up" the Bell Fibe? If the Curtis is old, or not many of that type sold, it's quite possible that the remotes that control more than one device don't have the ability to control your TV.

However, if you DO find a remote that controls you TV and your DVD player, you might not need the Curtis remote at all. That's a bit more sophisticated of a discussion. Google One For All remotes. I found a site that has a list you can download of TV brands that can be controlled by some of their products. It's got Curtis Mathes in it.

Is the TV a Curtis or a Curtis Mathes?

Finally, in checking out the different types of universal remotes of this type, don't try the remote codes for TV/VCR or TV/DVD combo units. Though those units are TVs and have volume controls, all of the remote codes I've run into for such combos don't have volume commands. Bizarre but true.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
