BTW! when my grandmom had her debilitating stroke she was in the hospital/rehab for almost 2 months. Its amazing how quick your brother turned around! more power to him!
He hasnt "turned around"... he is at home resting. He has a fair amount of aphasia---which you might know if you had a relative who stroked-out.
He has a lot of speech therapy ahead of him, with no guarantees it won't happen again. My dad had three minor strokes, months aapart, before the "big" one.
