Today this guy came in to pick up his refurbished speakers... Prior to doing the work, I told him exactly how much it would cost:

Recone two mid-ranges = $60 each.

Re do front speaker grills = $60 each.

...So he comes in, gets his invoice, and is all pissed off... Hey! $240.00 to repair these?

YES, we went over that and you agreed to it all last week, remember?

G*d damnit... I sold these speakers to a neighbor, for $200!!! I'm losing $40.00!

ME: Well, I don't understand why you would do that, or why you decided to go ahead and have the work done, but you owe us $240.00.

Him: J*sus, thats a lot of money.

Me: Yep. Will that be on your Visa?

Him: Throws his card on the counter... I swipe it, toss it back.

Me: Hey! Tell your neighbor the price went up (wink-wink).
