...So a new friend moved into town... she is a temporary roommate. Last night I took her out to a very nice restaurant for the dinner and vioew... a few drinks and all of that.

Went to pay the tab, and my card got turned down!!!! Huh? I just deposited some $$$ into it??? WTF that's impossible, the d-bag wqaiter tried again and said --- nope it's declined!!!

Pretty embarrassing, but this morning I find out my card had expired (since it was a new temporary card) even though it had an expiration date of 09 / 17!!!
