Not sure if that's the right section here, but can't find any Android section...


I started one year ago writing a little android app, because I was so anoyed from other IR-blaster apps that have been around that time. There was no app the store that had every button working and use on a daily basis was important for me - the goal was to replace the original Samsung remote completely.


Everything startet here, at remotecentral.com when I first read about discrete HEX codes for Samsung TVs. So I started to code, then tried to use it daily and improve and improve, while always trying to keep things simple - and ergonomic!

Finally, now more than 1 year later it's done. I sat down again a few days ago, finalized the app and uploaded everything to Google Play Store. My first app on Google Play *proud*!

Now there are plenty of tested codes implemented - now it has overall 69 different buttons to implement every working Samsung HEX code I could find here. Therefore, I guess at the moment it may be (?) the android IR-blaster app with the most buttons / TV functions implemented. At least I couldn't find one that has more working buttons ;)

No fancy other stuff, just Big Buttons - Working Buttons! And a layout that I've tested and improved over and over for one year now. I don't use my original TV remote anymore...
