The great thing... Told them it's a non HD TV. Because why pay for the HD service. Well it is a HD TV and the X1 box does receive the HD signal and gives me the 1080i. It even changes the channel to "my HD preferences."

If you aren't being charged on the bill for HD then it's some sort of introductory special offer or something. I have a client that is too cheap to pay for HD service and he has the Xfinity boxes, there is HDMI out on it but it is not HD.
