Hi. I'm researching remotes and came across this model and it looks perfect for my needs, but it doesn't seem to be widely available in the US and doesn't show on OFA's US page, but it does show in other countries/regions.

One Amazon reviewer was frustrated that he ordered it and it did not work for "any American model devices".

My question is: Is this remote JP1 programmable, and if so, does that make the region a completely mute point? I'm still trying to decide whether to jump into JP1 or not, as it looks a little daunting...I know virtually nothing about this, but I'm eager to learn. Thanks.
