The forty button remote that shows in your link has OFF.

What you're asking translates to "how do I learn an IR code?" You have the remote, so you have the code in its most physical form.

So: what remote control system are you trying to use to control these little buggers? What other remote control systems do you have the software for?

My solution to this question for about the last ten years has been to carry a Pronto TS1000 from, what, the 1980s? I use it to learn new codes. I use its software, available for free on this site, to open an edit screen from which the hex code can be copied, copy as in "copy and paste."
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
