I use a Logitech 890 w/rf because my equipment is in a cabinet. Several key buttons on the remote have to be pressed several times as hard as you can to get a response. I've read this is common with Logitech remotes so I'm not anxious to get another one, especially if I also would have to replace the hub for the equipment (receiver, cable box, TV, blu ray, etc). Logitech doesn't have any repair options and that makes these remotes pretty pricey disposable items.
Is there a remote I could use with my current hub and just replace the 890 with it? Or do I have to scrap the whole thing and start over? And with what?
