So I have never touched a Roku in my life. We are exclusive to Apple TV but we have had a quick run on Roku's because of Sling TV and international channels.
Sorry for the no model number posts but I grabbed some of the cheap pieces with analog out. I got the ones with digital because they actually had RCA outputs for a cleaner rack layout.
Sling TV is pretty cool for those looking for a soft landing spot from cutting the cord.
we are split in our shop. I'm an appleTV supporter because it's the path I took and got my kids iPads. So iTunes works for me. My boss though went with Vudu back when they still had their own hardware unit, so Roku makes more sense for him. And when a client wants streaming I try to figure out which device fits them best.
