Pronto uses JavaScript rev 5 or 6, I forget which. The Flanagan 5th edition chapters 1-10 surely apply and if you want some more advanced stuff, read through 11-12. Anything after Chapter 12 with the exception of the JavaScript reference mainly targets development for a Web Browser.

Ok, I was going to ask something like that after I read the chapters. Because I could only imagine it being an blanket effect of JavaScript. But now that I know that those chapters solely work on what ProntoScript will be working with. I should, hopefully, understand it.

It's like me telling my nephew to go learn how to work with tools on a car. But not specify which part of the car. Engine or brakes.
