I think after watching the video a few times, the cop was being swarmed when he pulled his gun and returned it to its holster as soon as he did not feel threatened.
For that, I do not blame him one bit.
I know, they were just kids breaking in to a neighborhood swimming pool in a neighborhood that they did not live in or were invited to, but that does not change the fact that one of the "kids" could have a gun like any other thug, because they might be a thug in disguise.
Every one of them that were detained, broke the law by not following the orders of the police officer, trespassing, assault, flight, etc.
Trespassing, flight, ASSAULT? Cmon man. They were all young kids celebrating the last day of school, and most of them had been invited. Things went south when some of the older women at the pool began flinging racial slurs, and hit one of the kids mom in the face.
I am not surprised you are defending the racist-assed cop.

Yeah they were real thugs weren't they? Mr. Macho Texas cop was a real man to toss down the 14 year old kid in the bathing suit. Funny he didn't order any white kids to "get down" (the kid filming was white. If he'd been black, that would have been a different story. The kid filming said he "felt invisible".
Were those kids pictured breaking in? I thought they were invited. Was that officer in control?
BTW wasn't Cruz "anointed" as the new messiah at that megachurch in Irving Texas a couple of years ago? Be careful.
