Plenty of reasons

-Like the feel and built quality of ps3 remote
-Key mapping is done with a small utility, no winlirc or whatever translating ir commands
-bluetooth does not need pointing at something, you can be on the toilet and still pause or control whats on the other room

So for that and more, if i could just use it to power my TV and AMP from the same remote, that would be ideal for me
