Went to the Training last night and here is what was discussed.
Proper way to install SONOS according to the training was to Hardwire each amp connect in rack to an unmanaged switch. If another Sonos Products is on site like in a living room, do not wire it behind another switch. Let the mesh network handle it.
If there are any other products in rack that are using wifi, hardwire all Amp connects. If no other components in rack use wifi, hardwire one amp connect and the others can be wireless.
Never loop amp connects together with Ethernet cable
The boost is a solid product
They have added 2 services that handle 16bit-44Khz

Deezer Elite is available for free as a demo for Dealers.
Mood Mix is a service offered for commercial installs. If the customer pays for mood mix, no ascap issues.
Recommended network sniffer- inSSIDer
Use this software and take a picture and file it when job is complete. Go back out to site on a service call, pull out sniffer and see what has changed.
Here are 2 things that I learned that I wanted to share.
1)When on the local network with the sonos devices, pull up a browser and type in
[Link: ipofplayer]EDIT:
This will give you a Diagnostic that can determine the wireless signal strength between players and the interference that players receive.
2) to be a gold dealer, in the past you had to sell more households than you did total product to get recognized as gold dealer. Now if you sell 3 zones in a house, CI's will get credit like multiple households.
