IIRC Sony never officially released RS232 codes (or pin out for that matter) for the XBR.  I think someone either sniffed out these codes or just tried codes from other models.


Is there a particular reason you aren't using IR?  I imagine whatever codes you have gotten to work are not providing you two way feedback.

I never really understood using RS232 for TVS unless you are simply out of IR ports.
