The manual is not very forthcoming and I see why people prefer RTI now. RTI is more straight forward. Its a whiz compared to URC.

Can someone please give me the steps for making a macro on the mx850 editor.
do i need to hit the record button first or the command list or the macro button. nothing states the order. I'm all about simple. If RTI was a little cheaper, I could probably sell more of them. I have a T2C and i love it....was a breeze to program.
Nothing like "drop and drag".

But this, this i need a clue on.

This is all your opinion and nothing more. You looked in a product manual it seems to learn how to program. YOU prefer rti because you are familiar with it. Starting with a 10+ year old model with old software doesn't really offer a fair comparison either. URC is easy and fast to program. I know both platforms and prefer URC.
