I'll be honest. I'm not buying it. It's a CP1/2, which is a non-rack mountable piece. It has less serial ports, less sensor ports, and less IR ports compared to the MRX10, plus it has no 2.4 GHz antenna from what I hear. I believe only costs $100 less at retail price than the MRX10.

If these facts are true, I cannot see using it, ever. I would just bump up to the MRX10 and not offer the MRX8 as an option. It would have to be at least a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. I have not checked pricing to confirm what I heard, so I could be off.
