I have made sure that they are set to IR in the programming.

I decided to open it up and try to see any blown parts inside. I found the pullup resistor for the IR output, which was labeld 101. Looking it up, this should mean 100 ohms. Upon measuring it with a multimeter, it read 100,000 ohms. Could this be my problem? a Faulty resistor?
