We've been using a a MX-500 for years and love it. It's on its on last legs and we just got a new LG TV that came with their Magic remote and WebOS 2.0. We don't find the Magic remote too bad, but where it really falls down is providing pause/skip/ff/rw functionality for DVRs and DVDs. You need to go into a UI pop up and click on icons. Not very practical.

I'm trying to find a replacement that gives me MX-500 type abilities, but also let's me control the WebOS UI.

SWMBO wants one remote to control them all, but I have a feeling we're going to have to settle for 2, one to control the SAT/DVD/AMP, and the Magic to control the TV.

Any suggestions welcome.
