Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it were possible to use an IR out port (from a Philips RFX9400 for instance) to send simple RS-232 commands into a device's Rx on its RS-232 port? After all it's all zeros and ones in the end.

It appears that this device might be the solution. Does anyone have any experience with using those?

I would greatly appreciate any advice.
