I am a commercial CATV installer servicing hotels. I have a rather large bag of remotes for various equipment. Some remotes are specialty units that cannot be replaced and I have not found a universal that will duplicate them from a database.

I would like to learn the IR codes so that I can paste them into the IR Remote ap on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This way I can leave the bag at home, less to carry, and also not lose the special remotes. If I lose one I will not be able to duplicate it.

I have an Actisys IR200L dongle. What software can I use to learn the codes from remotes? If you have a better Idea on how to get the codes onto an Android Ap I'm all ears.

FYI, I have gotten IR Command2 to work properly but it will not decypher the codes so that I can clip and paste them to me phone.
