I have ran into the same issue with this model of television. After speaking with samsung tech support 3 times they were no help. I decided to try the video chat so i could tell if they even knew what i was talking about. The tech has sent my problem to a higher tier of tech support and they will be emailing me discreet hex codes for infared control. i will post these when i receive them.
