I have some friends that bought the 1.0 version. They all tired with the issues it had with software and hardware, and put regular buttons back in place after about 6 months.

It appears that version 2.0 is better, but still a little lacking. It fails to capture based on motion sensing, or having the bell rung. You have to manually capture the feed, and only a still image at that. The issues with the audio seem like a big issue. I'm not ready to be a guinea pig, based on what I've read. The bad news, is that in this race of pigs, Skybell sounds like the best.
