I was kind of expecting Ernie to chime in. He did the same here on an old post:

"Transmitting HD from one location to another is NOT wireless HDMI but wireless HD. If there could be such a thing as wireless HDMI, it would require different RF channels for the different channels of information in the HDMI cable. Once you convert the HDMI signal from a signal that uses HDMI connectors, it can still be HD, but it's no longer HDMI. That's why the word "convert" is used."
