After some thought that interception is getting blown out of proportion. If the ball had been caught for the TD we wouldn't be having this discussion. It took a perfect play to pull off that interception. If Malcolm Butler broke on the ball any earlier he would have over run the catch any later an he would have at best broken up the pass at worse interference. Any of those and the Seahawks still have the ball. This isn't the first time that I've seen a team from high school to the pros with a running back like Lynch not use him in a situation like this. If nothing else put him on the field and he could run the other direction and the players that are keying on him would go with him even if he ran into the stands.
