I've been controlling older LG TVs for quite some time via the RS232 protocol. Having said that I am looking to purchase a Smart TV model and wanted to find out if it would be possible to send commands to have the browser open?

I've looked through the newer manual(s) and haven't seen any mention of this but wasn't sure if there was documentation somewhere else that I haven't yet seen.

It would be nice if I could also tell the browser what page to load, but that's not nearly as important as simply opening the browser itself; I can have the page I want set as the default home page that that would open...
