I just don't understand how anyone in our business could say that Apple is superior platform for "our" use. we live in a windows world! this whole thread started by the necessity of running windows on an apple machine. i really dont know what the problem is with you guys and windows machines. i have NEVER had a virus. i am a heavy heavy user, do not run any anti virus software. NEVER have bluescreen failures, run full crestron suite, lutron homeworks, radiora2, urc, rti, nuvo, russound, have had composer at times, cad, bidmagic, quickbooks, etc. it all works perfectly fine. i mean i have no reason to say otherwise, i really could care less.

i have no problem whatsoever spending $3k on a laptop if i felt like i was getting anything in return. i have been extremely satisfied with my windows machines. until they let me down i have no reason to swap.

it is very simple to keep viruses off a PC....... stay off the damn porn sites and dont open attachments from strangers!!!
