I recently swapped over my network to a Comcast Business line to get more stable internet speeds. During the change over, they brought in a new modem that had 4 Gig Ethernet ports so I figured I would just start using that as my Router instead of my aging Linksys with 10/100 ports. At the same time, i have been wanting to move away from 192.168.1.XXX for my home network for security reasons. Well the new modem works in a Class A 10.1.10.XXX so i just spent a couple days re-iping all of my servers, cameras, control panels to 10.1.10.XXX but now i am having problems connecting to the PRO2. I could not find anything online if a PRO2 did not like being on a Class A network but it is acting very strange. Toolbox seems to loose connectivity after a minute or two or it will just not connect at all which is most times.
I tried giving it a new IP address incase there was a conflict of some kind but i am still having connection issues. I was troubleshooting on a different computer than the one i usually use for programming and debugger, and it is not having any issues connecting to the control device. So far, the systems that are having problems are just the iPad with the Crestron App and my Desktop that i use for programming. I tried all of the usual network troubleshooting, flushdns, ping, setting up static IP in etc/hosts but it is not playing nice.
So to my question... has anyone seen this kind of behavior before? Any clues as to what i can do?
