Believe it or not putting in a new set of Alkaline batteries...not dollar store cheapies or rechargeable...actually worked! I've been wanting to upgrade from the 610 because I like the button location better on the 620. I didn't know about the learning defect until I went to program it. I was VERY sceptical that changing the batteries would actually work. My new remote is all programmed and ready to go thanks to this forum.
