Thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like Sony is being used the most, however, if the tray is being opened when one of the discretes (probably on?) is sent, then I'm better off with the LG540 as it would be placed in a cabinet with glass doors.

As for the "Cheap" comment, I agree with it. I'm only looking for a "Cheap" blu-ray player as a stop gap. What I really want is an Oppo player. I'd get one now except I'm reluctant to buy a two year old product. When their new models come out (hopefully early 2015, anyone with any idea as to when?), I will get one.
