I have an MX-800 and have not gone through the exercise converting URC's IR database entries into hex codes, but their MX-800 editor has access to a number of
STR-DN1050 codes.

I will note that their databases entries have NO discrete codes to select the "Internet Music Services" input for either Zone 1 or Zone 2 (nor is there a button on the remote to learn). If I could get codes for those I'd be happy :-)

You'll find that, at least in URC's database, Zone 2 on/off is a toggle. However, if Zone 2 is off and you select a Zone 2 source then Zone 2 will turn on. If Zone 2 was already on and then the desired source is selected Zone 2 remains on.

Generally speaking (depending on vintage and some other things), Sony, Marantz, Integra, Denon, and Sherwood Receiver will turn on (and go to) by pressing the input button on the OEM remote. This works for their zone 2, zone 3, etc.

So, if on the off chance you can't find discrete power (like I was unable to with the Sherwood), you can call an empty input, delay, and then power toggle as an anchor for "discrete power off."
