Found out that my database issues were due to having windows 8 64 bit on my pc. I found my old xp laptop from college, and can now run PEP2 with no problems.

Ive actualy made quite a bit of progress on building my program, and have been testing it via direct fire ir.

The only major setback I have now is that I can not connect the 9400 to my rfx9400 extender. I selected "extender 0 rfx9400" in pep and then re-downloaded the program to the remote. The rfx is set to stand alone mode and id 0 , yet I still get the command failed error on the remote. Im sure Ive overlooked a step in setting up the remote for RF.
