Hi,

For some reason, I'm unable to get the mx 5000 to learn basic scrolling options.
Up, down, enter ,left and right navigating keys do not work when internet radio is selected. I even tried to learn the commands but it won't transmit signal. Buttons have been "punched through" to the receivers remote. The mx5000 does change inputs, it does turn off my receiver but the directional keys do no work when "internet radio" is selected.
Has anyone experienced this problem using CCP?
The receiver is a pioneer sc77

I haven't studied the underlying hex code for this receiver yet, but I can tell you how other models work. If you, for instance, looked in the urc db for integra dtr-30.4 series you will see a different driver for main, net, and radio. Essentially, when you hit the net button on the oem remote, the navigation keys Are sending a different signal then when you hit the amp (or receiver button) or the tuner button.

Basically hitting the net button telling the remote to control an entirely different component, almost like how you standard cable or sat remote can can control different devices. Does this make sense?

Make sure you hit net on your oem before learning navigation. Or find a smiliar model in the db with a net driver. Pioneer is so common. Or just get the hex data. It's out there too. There's no way your remote will do all the other functions above but won't 'learn the navigation."
