The only way you might even attempt to do this is with a Pyramid RF/IR extender. I am not sure if this would be possible. Depends on whether you have US (418MHz) or EU (433MHz) extender. As you say is RFX6000, then may be 418MHz and would likely not work with the Pyramids.

If you are intested in sending IR, why not just spend the $150 or so and buy a GlobalCache IRTach either wired or wireless.
