Looking for discrete power codes for the Genie receivers, they are not the same as the standard DirecTV codes. A standard direcTV "on" command toggles the genie power. The Genie remote itself has an on and off but when you use the on command it generates an onscreen message asking you if you want to program the remote to control the TV, no matter how many times you say "no" the message still comes up the next time you use the on command.
