He was probably the 2nd best bass player to come out of the UK during that era. And also remember what a great songwriter he was! I really feel he was technically better than McVie and Wyman, but certainly not the Ox.
He wrote many of the non cover songs that Cream recorded. His Songs For A Tailor (1st lp) is a great album.
