I've been having a play lately with teaching aircon commands to my Harmony.

One thing I'm curious about is whether the original remote sends ALL of the settings each time any button is pressed.
I've accidentally taught a few commands while the aircon remote was in the OFF mode. It still sends IR out so the Harmony learnt the commands. Upon testing I found the aircon was actually turning off instead of doing the requested command.

I'll do some more testing with some extreme settings entered when teaching a given fan speed so I can see if what I thought was a simple command is in fact a complete transfer of current settings on the remote.

I'm unable to analyse the IR output of the aircon remote to see exactly what it does.
