Addressing doesn't affect crosstalk one way or the other. Essentially, when the remote sends signal to the base, it "opens up" for a fraction of a second in which pretty much any signal can hit it. So while it typically doesn't affect most installs, it can happen. The issue occurs when you press a button on two remotes at the same time. That's when wonky things can happen.
