Duct Tape and Darcon, thanks for all the help. I finally got things set up using an old Windows XP laptop that I had put away. My main computer is a Macbook Pro that I dual boot with Mountain Lion and Windows 7. I don't know if the problem is with Windows 7 or the latest Java thats installed.
I have no problem with the CCP program or the MX850 program on my MBP tho.
