Hi,

We have been asked to supply some wireless headphones that would be suitable for use whilst exercising, i.e. running machine, rower, static cycle, etc.

Client has setup a gym area in an open plan room, and doesn't want to disturb people in other parts of the room whilst exercising.

We have a full Crestron DA solution installed so switching a line level source out dedicated to the headphones is not a problem. Also we have Cat5 links to the area so that we could transmit the audio to a local sender over a TP cable with the appropriate Baluns.

Normally we would just put in a pair of senheisser's or similar, but these don't really suit wearing for gym use.

Ideally a pair of in-ear buds, possibly with a wireless receiver that could be strapped to the arm a-la-iPod.

Anyone know of anything suitable?

TIA

Nick

manufacturers make Bluetooth or RF phones and even in-ear types, with a thin headband that has a reflector in the middle (I assume it's for people who run, walk or bike, although I'm no longer going to be using headphones or ear buds when I ride because of the guy who was punched in the head where I was riding last week.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
