I used the Shape codes from the link I Posted
The 1635 and 1636 codes do nothing to my AVR.
I suspect that the 'European' version is the most likely answer. And as to the question if my existing codes will work a new amp, I guess the answer is I will have to see.

Are you referring to the code numbers beside the file names when browsing through the 850 data base files?
